The show was moved to the Overture Center on State, a small, quaint theater and OAR rocked the house! It sounded great. My last OAR show was at Red Rocks in June and although nothing compares to Red Rocks, this was another great 'showing' by OAR. **Side note, Brett Dennen's performance was great, he is hilarious! And the FTE song (based on a bet with OAR about weed and money) titled ' Weed Money Man' was absolutely hysterical and might have given the Brett Dennen band a new avenue for the future.
The venue was pretty sweet other than the door people kept checking out tickets and our wrists. Why have a stamp then? Was super irritating. The concert was awesome. Not quite the energy as Red Rocks but the song selections was awesome. Intros to Mr. Brown and City on down were sick!! The cover was special to see with Brett thats for sure. I was really excited to hear King of the Thing live...34th and 8th was such a great live CD and it was good to go back to that CD. It was my buddys first OAR concert and he loved the encore of City on Down...Great job boys!!
